A Lady and her Owl - Black/White by StephSpensleyArts A Lady and her Owl - Black/White by StephSpensleyArts
Pen/Ink

This is incomplete, I cant quite decide what to do with her, grayscale or color, so i'm going to make printouts and do both...might even make this black and white a print. Thoughts?

I agree with the statements above, it looks good but has more potential with either sepia or some traditional SteamPunk like colors.
But more importantly the first thing I thought of when I looked at this was "It's SteamPunk Goddess Athena!!" (from the Greek Gods, in case you didn't know) mostly because of the owl, or the fact that my names Athena. But really, if you just change the clothes, I think it would work.

by the way, I like her hair a lot!

Personally, I like it as is, but I know that isn't what you are looking for. :XD:
I do like the idea of sepia tones if you are trying to get a consensus...

This is great. I also think B&W or color would suit it better.

Love your inks, hon. I would also do B&W, but colour would work too. No grays, or you'll drown out some of the detail.

Agreed with the above. I would like to see this in color, but I do enjoy it as it is. Although... I feel like there should be something in the white area. I know backgrounds are tricky... like, maybe a wooden board texture ie a wall?
